It’s also the oldest city in Switzerland; a settlement has been here for over 5,000 years, so it has a fascinating history. Chur’s pedestrianised Old Town is a maze of winding alleys interspersed with quaint churches, independent boutiques and charming restaurants. Its cathedral dates back to the 12th century.
